A.     The purpose of this package is to help small/medium scale campanies and even home-users to access
         the Internet at a cheaper cost. Isn't this is what everyone wanted? Save CO$T? This package can help 
         those companies save up quite a huge amount on phone bill especially if they are frequent Internet users.
         This method used to be very expensive due to the expensive NT Server and NT Server Software, they 
         are currently using (above RM10,000), but our Company came out with a cheaper solution using  a 
         cheaper Server with our Company very own programs (with better performance) so that small/medium 
         scale companies and even home-users can afford it. This package is ideal for heavy internet users 
         (e.g. CyberCafes, Schools, Companies staffs accessing the Internet daily for news,  emails, info 
          exchanges, KLSE LIVE, etc..).

A.     The benefit of using this packages are :-
         1)  Better security. This server has built in security. It is set to allow only those Windows 95/98 PCs link 
              to this Server to access the Internet. Those people outside the Internet are not allow to pass through 
              the  Server to access your Windows 95/98 PCs. The Server comes configured with firewall security.
         2)  Using less phone lines compare to conventional method which require 1 phone line per PC.
         3)  Cost saving. Since only 1 phone line is required to link to 7 PCs, you are already saving cost on your 
              phone lines compare to using the conventional method, please refer to Example 1 below.
         4)  You don't need any special phone line for this, you are only require to use your normal home or office
              telephone line.
         5)  It is easy to operate, you are only require to remember a few simple command. This system is design 
              to be user friendly.

A.     To compare the price with the currently available NT Server, you can just approach a computer company
         and ask for the cost of a server with the following specifications, on assumptions that you already have 7
         Windows 95/98 PCs at your location:
         1)  A Server which can link up to to 7 Windows 95/98 PCs.
         2)  Cost of a NT Server program, come bundle with 5 users group. To have another extra 2 users, you 
              have to purchase an extra 5 users group package (this is the minimum you can get on NT).
         3)  8 Port 100Base Networking Hub.
         4)  Cabling plus connector to link 7 Windows 95/98 PCs.
         5)  Dial-up ISDN Line (Ask Telekom).
         6)  Labour charges for setting up the whole internet gateway environment (configuring Windows NT 
              program, network linking to all 7 Windows 95/98 PCs plus cabling).

A.     No, there are no difference at all. It is about the same EXCEPT using less phone lines. In this way, only 
         1 phone line is required to allow up to 7 Windows 95/98 PCs to access the Internet instead of using 1 
         phone line per PC. You are still dialing the same phone number, 1515 for TmNet and 1511 for Jaring.

A.     It does not matter. Once the Net GateWay Server is online to the Internet, up to 7 Windows 95/98 PCs 
         users are allow to access the internet with a reasonable speed using only one phone line.

A.     Well, you need to use 2 sets of Net GateWay Server System. It is not the Server cannot handle 12 PCs 
         at a time. It is because Telekom normal phone lines do not have the bandwidth to cater for more than 7 
         PCs. You will tend to find the speed very slow if you use more than that.

A.     Any intensive net user or small/medium scale company at any given time which need to access the 
         Internet with up to 7 Windows 95/98 PCs without using too many phone lines, and at a cheaper cost.

A.     No, the full package consist of the Net Gateway Server System + 7 Windows 95/98 PCs. You need only 
         to buy the Net GateWay Server System and link to your existing PCs (Windows 95/98) you have, as 
         long it is not more than 7 PCs.

A.     There are 3 charges alltogether. The first charges is for the Net GateWay Server System. The second
         charges is for linking the Windows 95/98 PCs to the Net GateWay Server System. Since not all 
         company or home-user have 7 PCs to link, our Company only charge per PC link. In this way, any 
         company or home-user have only 4 PCs, our Company only charge the 4 PCs link. It would be a bit 
         costly to the company or home-user if we charge for linking 7 PCs even if only 4 PCs is available. The 
         third charges is for the cables to link the PCs to the Server. Since not all PCs is located same distance 
         to the Server, price for cables are calculated by distance. For pricing, refer to Net GateWay Server 
         System Pricing.

A.     Normally, it will take around one week to setup, configure and test the system upon deposit paid. This 
         is to ensure that there is less breakdown problem occur after delivery. Of course, its depend on  parts
         availability. Charges for delivery and on-site installation is included in the Server package.

A.     The warranty only applies to parts for 1 year upon delivery. There is NO software warranty. Most of the
         problem occurs in hardware not software. The warranty only applies to off-site only. This means, when 
         the Server encounter problems, the end-user have to bring the Server back to HQ/Service Centre for 
         repair. The on-site (end-user location) only covers for first time installation upon delivery. If the end-
         user require us to go on-site, there will be a surcharge (on-site charge).
